Family Services

Creating opportunities for families (and
other community members) to spend
quality time together, enjoy activities with other families, connect with others in the community, strengthen networks and learn about available resources.

Community Services

Community-based education  promotes learning and social
development. Working with individuals
and groups in the community using a
range of formal and informal methods.
Programs and activities are developed to increase the understanding of
social issues and increase the capacity of individuals and groups of all ages. 

 

Creating Opportunities for community
members to meet others, create new
social networks and supports and create a sense of belonging.

Children and Youth

Programs that engage children and
youth, providing opportunities to develop new skills, strengthen relationships with other young people, create relationships with supportive adults. Children's game and craft nights, after school drop in and the play group program are examples.

Seniors, Older Adults and
Vulnerable Adults

There are seniors and vulnerable adults in the community who are, or are at risk of being isolated from others, the community and the resources they may need. There are seniors and vulnerable adults who require support and assistance in forms completion. Ensuring basic needs are met like food security grocery pick up (including
prescriptions) through partnership with the local foodbank, Clothing
support through partnership with a thrift store in the region. A variety of services and opportunities are provided for seniors to increase their capacity to age in place, connect with others, engage in community life and access the resources they need.

celebrating volunteer engagement in our community.
